No. You can book directly with any of our Sydney clinics. If you already have a referral from your GP, sleep physician, or ENT, you’re welcome to bring it along.

Often, yes. MAS is a common alternative for people who struggle with CPAP masks, noise, dryness, or discomfort. The best way to confirm suitability is a consultation, where we assess your symptoms, airway risk, and any existing sleep study results.
Not always. If you’ve already completed a sleep study, bring your results and we’ll work from there. If you haven’t, we’ll guide you on whether a sleep study is recommended and help you organise one if needed.
Yes. MAS is commonly used for snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. For more severe cases, MAS can still be appropriate for many patients, but it depends on your clinical assessment and sleep study findings.
Most patients can move from consultation to fitting within a few appointments. After assessment, we take digital scans and organise your custom appliance. We then fit and adjust it to make sure it’s comfortable and effective.
We’ll review your symptoms, medical history, and any sleep study results you have. We’ll assess your jaw function and suitability for MAS. You’ll leave with a clear plan, including next steps and expected timing.
Most patients adapt quickly. Your appliance is custom-made for your bite, and we fine-tune it during follow-ups to improve comfort and effectiveness. Some temporary dryness, tightness, or mild jaw stiffness can occur early on, and usually settles as you adjust.
MAS is a medical device, so ongoing monitoring matters. We design the appliance to minimise unwanted changes, and we check your bite and jaw comfort over time. If you have existing jaw pain or TMJ issues, tell us upfront so we can tailor your plan.
Many patients can claim a rebate depending on their fund and level of cover. We can provide the documentation you need for claiming, and you can confirm your rebate with your insurer.
